Personal Statement
I am a young Researcher specialising in sustainability reporting with keen interest in commitment to sustainability practices and focus on how the triple bottom line (environmental, social and governance) practices are incorporated into corporate reporting and managerial decision making. My research explores the corporate governance role in ensuring responsible business practices where the needs of future generations are not jeopardised, aiming to improve transparency through communication of both financial and non-financial performance of organisations. I am interested in frameworks such Global Reporting Initiative Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards on sustainability reporting.
