PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a dedicated scholar and university lecturer with over 20 years of experience, passionate about inspiring students toward academic and personal excellence. I employ creative, student-centered teaching methods tailored to diverse learning styles, ensuring effective understanding. With strong communication skills and a clear, engaging delivery, I simplify complex ideas and motivate students through my enthusiasm and adaptability. My research interests and teaching are in the areas of Management and Cost Accounting, Corporate Financial Reporting , Corporate Governance and Ethics in Accounting, Auditing, Social and Environmental Accounting and Sustainability Reporting, Management and Accounting Information Systems. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and since joining the university in 2002 as a Lecturer II, I have held several key roles, including Departmental Examination Officer, PG Coordinator, Sub-dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences and currently Deputy Dean 1 of the Student Affairs Division of the University. I have also contributed professionally as a member of ICAN’s Council Committee on Members Education and Training.
