Personal Statement

Ismaila Adeleke is a Professor of Actuarial and Risk Modelling in the Department of Actuarial Science and Insurance, University of Lagos with over 20 years’ experience in researching and teaching of Statistical and Risk Modelling to undergraduate, and postgraduate students. He is a Lead Industry/Research Consultant to a number of Start-Up companies. Adeleke is an award-winning researcher, delivering several papers covering various aspect of statistics and risk modelling.

A member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), Chattered Institute of Statisticians of Nigeria (CISON), Chattered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), the American Statistical Association, International Biometry Society, International Statistical Institute and many other professional bodies. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc. & PhD in Statistics, M.Sc. in Actuarial Science and M.Sc. in Financial Engineering. He also holds Certificate qualifications in Google Analytics, Advanced Google Analytics and Business Intelligence.

Adeleke secured Patent right for AVAS (Automated Voice Verification and Authentication Service)
