I am a seasoned academic, researcher, and consultant with over two decades of multidisciplinary expertise in Industrial Sociology, Employment Relations, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, and Development Studies. My professional journey reflects a deep commitment to advancing knowledge, shaping policy, and mentoring the next generation of scholars and practitioners, particularly in areas such as workforce planning, labour standards, the transition from education and training to the workforce, occupational health and safety, performance management, and the promotion of decent work and fundamental principles and rights at work. I am passionate about translating academic insights into scalable solutions to workplace challenges across sectors. With a steadfast focus on capacity building, interdisciplinary collaboration, and policy innovation, I aim to continue leveraging my experience to advance scholarship, uphold workers’ rights, and contribute meaningfully to sustainable development in Africa.
