Personal Statement
I am an academic and administrator with over 30 years of experience in Business Administration, specializing in strategic management, entrepreneurship, and corporate governance. My academic career is grounded at the University of Lagos, where I earned my B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D., and where I currently serve as Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences. Throughout my career, I have held various leadership roles including Acting Head of Department, Coordinator of MBA and Postgraduate Programmes, and member of numerous academic and administrative boards. I have published extensively in peer-reviewed international and national journals, and I have supervised over 300 postgraduate students, including more than 18 doctoral candidates. My academic work is complemented by active participation in national and international conferences, trainings, and community service. I bring a deep commitment to academic excellence, research-driven impact, and ethical leadership, and remain passionate about mentoring emerging scholars and contributing to the development of sustainable business practices in Nigeria and beyond.
