Dr. Iredele began his teaching and research career at Wesley University of Science and Technology, before moving to Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, both in Ondo State. He joined the University of Lagos as an Assistant Lecturer in March 2015, obtained his Ph.D. in Accounting in July 2017, and was promoted to Lecturer II later that year and to Lecturer I in October 2020. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Accounting, University of Johannesburg, South Africa, from 2018 to 2019.
