Personal Statement
Prior to joining the University, he has worked in the private sector as an Accounting Officer in a printing company in Lagos. Julius joined the Department of Accounting, in November 1998 as Lecturer II having served in the same department’ during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). He has served the Faculty in many capacities among which are Faculty Examination Officer, member of Faculty Appointment and Faculty Examination Officer, member of Faculty Appointment and Promotion Committee, Member of Faculty Research Committee. He was the Internal Auditor and Treasurer of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) UNILAG Chapter, between 2002 and 2005. He was at a time a member of Ogun State Health Management Board. He has produced a number of academic papers and monographs, attended and made presentations at International Accounting Cpnferences in Europe, America and Canada. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). He is also a member of British Accounting Association, Association of Accountancy and Business Affairs and International Academy of African Business and Development.
